Your dog died in a humane and peaceful way. I wasn't granted that luck. The last memory of my dog was seeing it take it's last breath after a swarm, and I mean a swarm-never seen anything like it, of thousands of fleas attacked it one day. I guess those things can travel like that in the summer, and they ate the life out of it in a couple of days. The things wouldn't die, I had it just covered in all kinds of flea powders and lotions, baths, and it didn't help. Makes me sick, thinking about how that dog must have felt. My neighbors dog was killed by them a few days before mine. I wanted to call fire down on the things...
